While not a true cooperative, POL Home Grown Market uses cooperative efforts to achieve steady and dependable means of supplying the highest quality produce and other products. POL Home Grown Market works to find new and innovative methods to preserve greenspace, protect our natural resources, support our local economy, provide meaningful work, and return to a more self-sufficient community life. POL Home Grown Market member farms often dedicate a portion of their personal time to building gardens for their local communities as well as providing fun and informative educational programs for children and adults, including those with special needs.

Our History
POL Home Grown Market was founded in July 2008. Recognizing and responding to needs of community members and small business owners, we combine the efforts of individual growers to market their produce. POL Home Grown Market hopes to sell an abundance of local products to local individuals and families, as well as local restaurants and grocery stores.

Membership Fees
At this time there is no annual membership fee for customers. All customers pay an 5% surcharge on their order to fund the management and promotion of the site. Customers are welcome to try the site for two orders by paying cash only before officially becoming members and establishing an account balance. These first two orders must be paid for with cash when the orders are picked up.

Placing Orders
Market is open 6 days a week, 24 hours per day for ease of the customer! Order anytime from Tuesday morning until the next Monday morning at 10am. Each Friday morning, a list of available products will be sent to everyone with an POL Home Grown Market account by e-mail. Customers must place their order for the week any time during the week, but no later than Monday at 10AM. Orders can be placed here on our website, or if need be by responding directly to the e-mail, or by phone(when we fully get up and running). Ordering through our web site is POL Home Grown Market’s preferred method as it is designed to reduce the amount of time it takes POL Home Grown Market to process orders as well as provide you with detailed information about our products. Note: We cannot take orders from new customers any other way than through the website. The customer pays the full listed price plus a market surcharge of 5% to support the market and pay the website host.

Farmers/Growers/Producers receive their orders on Monday morning at 10AM and harvest on Monday and Tuesday. They then deliver the pre-labeled orders to the Harton House, 300 S Jackson Street, Tullahoma, (on the right just a block past the post office heading toward Winchester) on Tuesday by 4PM.

Picking Up Orders
From 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuessday, customers can pick-up their produce at the Harton House, 300 S Jackson Street, Tullahoma (on the right just a block past the post office heading toward Winchester).

Gift Certificates are available! If you would like to purchase a gift of health and flavor, please consider a POL Home Grown Market gift certificate. You can decide the amount and the lucky recipient can purchase locally grown produce through a deduction of your account!
